(I finished IT'S ELEMENTARY, and while it's definitely not like the Stevenson books, it has its own charm. The surprising thing that happened actually surprised me when it should not have. I mean... yeah.)
THE LAST DAYS OF LILAH GOODLUCK was suggested to me - touting itself as Red White and Royal Blue meets The Last Holiday. I'm not sure I'm going to read it, but it's on my stack... meanwhile, I remember weeping at the end of watching ATTACK THE BLOCK and weirding out the people I was watching it with. SF/Horror can have heart.
SOUTHERN BOOK CLUB'S GUIDE is a freaking masterpiece.
HARD AGREE!!! (And I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one shouting that to the heavens, hahahaha.)
I’m definitely going to look for the Stevenson books (and not just because we share a last name 😂)
I think they'll be fun for any mystery fan, but especially so for folks who love stories that play with tropes & expectations around tropes! <3

Oh, Attack the Block is a gd TREASURE. I haven't rewatched it in years, I should revisit.
I requested It's Elementary from Maine's digital library & they purchased it, so I'm hoping to fit that in this weekend—I'll look up Lilah!
