I didn't love Aggie Morton as much - granted I only read the first - but the Stevens set is my jam and Prickwillow Place and the Myrtles do not disappoint.
Yeah, this'll be the second time that I bring Aggie home--the first time around, I didn't get around to her. But I'm vaguely working my way through the Edgar nominees, so here we are? (If you could have seen Josh blowing through all of the Myrtles you'd have laughed, he was OBSESSED. I've only read the first one, but absolutely ADORED it... which is why I've read it three times, heh. And Hazel's voice in the Stevens books is so great, I love her.)
You might like "The Maid". It's not entirely cozy, but was very good. Kind of like "Strange Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" meets "Magpie Murders".
