Oh, good old Cyndi Lauper. Man, those were the days, when she just blithely hopped over from being herself in music to being herself in movies.

Meanwhile, I CLEARLY need to look up what Dungeons & Daddies is all about!!!!!!

That movie, sadly, was Not Good. Cyndi was absolutely the best part of it: she had the best lines, the best delivery/performance, and the best (obviously) fashion. Jeff Goldblum was tepid at best, and Peter Falk was mostly just standing around and waiting for his paycheck, heh. But I wasn't mad that we watched it, because again: Cyndi.

I just shelled out for one of the Dungeons and Daddies spin-off mini adventures, in which they play Regency era ladies trying to get married—I've listened to actual play D&D podcasts before, but this one has really become a show of my heart. Which... says something about my heart, LOL.
